custom Monette 993 for sale

This is a Custom Monette Copy of a 993 built for me by Jim Becker at Osmun Music...I asked for the darkest, roundest, smoothest, sound I could get out of a trumpet and still sound like a trumpet and this is what he came up with...It has hard nickel plated valves (like getzen but smoother IMHO) It has light weight and heavy valve caps...and a custom reciever (similiar to bach) to lighten the articulation...the horn plays great! He also made a square slide in addition to the ovate slide that crispens up the articulation and brightens the upper register...2 horns in one!!! I used this horn primarily for small group jazz but have played it professionally in virtually all venues, salsa, quintet, big band, tejano, rock groups etc. I am going back to school and have to sell some horns. I payed about 2500 for this horn and can let it go for 1850 including shipping.

horns for sale: 1939 Blessing Artist

1939 Blessing Artist...What a player! This horn has been to my repair technician (Pete Rodriguez in San Antonio) who in my opinion is the best in Texas! The horn has no valve leaks and has had the valves aligned due to worn felts...I bought this horn as "another back up" and have recently decided to go back to school... I can't afford to keep a bunch of horns around. This is a great trumpet that really projects with a great, balanced spectrum...highs, mids, and lows...it is a .466 bore but due to the tighter wrap plays more like a Medium large Bach...I did some small group jazz stuff with this horn last month and was very pleased it also plays quite effortlessly "for me" in the upper register... big G's/A's.
